How these case study posts work
The opening usually starts with a sharp change, a surprising result, or a clear problem. It gives readers a reason to stop scrolling before they know the full story.
Then the post adds context in short lines. That helps dwell time because each line gives just enough reason to keep reading. The middle explains what happened, why it mattered, and what others can learn from it.
Use this format when you have a customer win, founder story, brand move, team lesson, or personal career shift. It also works well when the proof is simple enough to understand without a slide deck.
A common mistake is making it read like a press release. LinkedIn rewards clear hooks, plain words, comments, reposts, and strong first-hour signals. Put the lesson in the post, then add extra links or a free download in the first comment.
After a year-and-a-half of preparation, the day has finally arrived.
Today, Honeywell Aerospace became an independent, publicly traded Aerospace & Defense company listed on the Nasdaq with the symbol HONA. We marked the momentous occasion by ringing the opening bell this morning, and while that’s an experience I’ll never forget, it also a reflective moment to look back at what it took to get here.
I could not be more grateful to the 36,000+ employees at Honeywell Aerospace for helping to make this spin a success. When I say it took a lot of nights and weekends, that’s not hyperbole. What inspired me most was how genuinely excited people were to make the spin a success. From every corner of the company, they believed in it - and it showed. There were countless tasks and tricky problems to solve … from IT to brand … from legal to finance and everything in between. Every day leading into this spin was a series of puzzles to solve. But our people did it. This company is filled with problem-solvers.
Of course, they didn’t do it alone. I’d be remiss not to thank Vimal Kapur and his team at Honeywell Technologies for everything they did to ensure both companies are set up for very
Teamwork sounds easy in presentations.
Reality is different.
Some teams struggle with communication gaps.
Some with ego clashes.
Some with people working in silos without understanding the bigger picture.
A simple example:
One team delays sharing updates with another department. The result? Deadlines are missed, clients get frustrated, and suddenly everyone starts blaming each other.
The biggest challenge in teamwork is not lack of talent.
It is lack of alignment and trust.
Strong teams are built when:
• People communicate early, not after problems happen
• Feedback is shared respectfully
• Everyone understands the common goal
• Team members help each other instead of competing internally
A successful workplace is not where individuals shine alone.
It is where people move together even during pressure.
Because in the long run, great teamwork always beats individual brilliance.

FIFA tried to hide Gillette's logo from the World Cup.
During the World Cup, FIFA's sponsorship rules
Forced Gillette Stadium to temporarily become "Boston Stadium."
The logos were covered.
But Gillette saw something most brands miss:
Constraints create attention.
Instead of hiding the stadium signage with a plain cover, they disguised it as shaving foam.
A simple visual.
Perfectly linked to the product.
Then they posted it online.
And suddenly, a sponsorship restriction became a marketing campaign.
That's the difference between advertising and branding.
Advertising helps people see you.
Branding helps people recognize you.
First Levi's used a covered logo.
Now Gillette used shaving foam.
Different executions. Same lesson.
The strongest brands don't win because they're visible everywhere.
They win because people recognize them instantly,
Even when the logo is gone.

A company that never raised venture capital just became India's first bootstrapped startup to cross ₹12,000 crore in annual revenue.
That company is Zoho.
For FY25, Zoho reported ₹12,313 crore in revenue.
The milestone becomes even more remarkable when you look at the journey behind it.
Founded in 1996, Zoho chose to grow through its customers instead of external funding.
Over the years, it built more than 55 business applications, expanded to 150+ countries, and now serves over 150 million users worldwide.
The company also invested in initiatives like Zoho Schools, creating opportunities for students who may never have followed the conventional engineering route.
For 29 years, the focus stayed the same.
Build products.
Solve customer problems.
Keep improving.
The result is a company that has quietly become one of India's biggest global software success stories.
Congratulations to the entire Zoho team on creating a milestone that will inspire entrepreneurs for years to come. 👏
Such a simple idea but absolutely gold.
I’ve seen lottsssss of brands jumping on the World Cup hype recently. It has felt for some time like every time there’s a big event - sporting, cultural, or otherwise - brands flock to get involved.
It can be a good thing, I’ve seen lots of awesome reactive creative work, but it can also sometimes feel like brands are overcomplicating / overhyping a moment for the sake of tapping into an audience who are never going to buy their products.
This feels like a top tier bit of reactive marketing. So simple, immediately obvious, and does some good: makes the World Cup a reason to make a healthier choice.
Big, big kudos to Tesco here. Simple idea executed well and looks immense on the shelf.
Once someone gives notice, it’s already too late.
They’ve mentally checked out long before they handed in that resignation.
People don’t quit jobs, they quit poor leadership, toxic culture, and places where growth has stalled.
Someone recently reached out to me on LI to say: “I just resigned from my job last week because the owner is just destroying the very thing he is trying to accomplish. He doesn't care about anyone but himself and blames everyone for all the company problems. .”
That’s real at a lot of workplaces...and it sucks.
You see, retention isn’t about scrambling to fill empty seats.
It’s about getting curious: Why are people leaving in the first place?
Here are the top reasons employees walk away: 1. They feel invisible. - When was the last time you truly acknowledged their efforts? 2. Growth has stalled. - No path forward? They’ll create one, somewhere else. 3. Feedback is broken. - Micromanaging isn't feedback. Neither is silence. 4. Culture feels toxic. - Gossip, burnout, and favoritism kill engagement fast. 5. Pay doesn’t reflect value. - People do notice when their efforts outweigh their paycheck. 6. Leaders don’t inspire. - Leadership isn’t about control

It's hard to believe this animation was made 94 YEARS ago
This clip from Disney's 1932 Silly Symphony "King Neptune" showcases hand-drawn animation techniques, where artists created over 5,000 individual frames using cels and rotoscoping for fluid motion, predating CGI by decades.
The story depicts pirates capturing a seminude mermaid, leading to a rescue by sea creatures like octopuses, reflecting 1930s cartoons' blend of whimsy and adult-oriented humor that often included racial stereotypes in villain designs.
Most people chase bigger titles, better offices, and higher salaries. Deepak Raj Tushir chose a different path.
After spending 10 years in IT, he left a stable corporate career and returned to his roots in Haryana with one goal: create value for farmers and build something meaningful.
We gave AI agents reasoning → they could think. We gave them tools → they could act. We gave them memory → they could learn.
Now we're giving them their own computers; their own browsers; their own teams…
That's not an agent. That's an AI employee.
she built a $60K/month SaaS in 2 months using just LinkedIn posts
no ads. no VC. no fancy growth hacks.
just one platform that everyone overlooks.
here's how Lara did it:
1. she started on LinkedIn by accident - just trying to get a job. instead, she built a following, scaled a personal branding agency to 6 figures, then hit 7 figures through education. all from LinkedIn content.
2. she and her cofounder Jake had a problem: finding and storing high-performing content was eating their entire day. so Jake built a Chrome extension to manage their swipe files. they called it Kleo.
3. they shared it with a few close friends. then posted about it 2-3 times on LinkedIn. that was literally the entire launch strategy.
4. 80,000+ users downloaded it in months. zero paid ads. pure organic distribution built on trust.
5. when they decided to monetize - they already had the demand. a waitlist of 18,000 people. ONE post alone drove 1,000+ waitlist signups.
6. they launched in beta. hit $30K in 4 days. $60K MRR by month two. 918 paying subscribers and still growing.
the secret they cracked?
LinkedIn has 1 billion users. only 1% post. only 0.1% post every week.

Last week a client messaged me out of nowhere.
"Nataraj, I just got off a call. They found me through my LinkedIn post. First inbound ever."
Just landed in NYC. And I love arriving to this news: Codex hit 5M users, up from less than 1M at the start of the year.
It’s an incredible milestone, but what excites me most is what it represents. People are leaning into AI as more than a productivity tool. They’re using agentic capabilities as true collaborators in how work gets done. The same shift that has transformed engineering is beginning to reshape everyday work, becoming a growth engine for businesses.
On Tuesday, we’ll go deeper on all of this during our Intelligence at Work event. We’ll preview new capabilities coming to the OpenAI platform, share where we see enterprise AI headed, and show plenty of live demos of what we’re building for work.
Tune in Tuesday. Can’t wait to see you there!
Science has an increasingly important role to play in shaping a more sustainable future.
The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) recently signed a strategic collaboration agreement with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST).
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to harnessing research, innovation and national expertise to support AlUla’s long-term ambitions. From Arabian Leopard genomics and biodiversity conservation to astronomy, sustainable technologies and future economies, it creates new opportunities to turn knowledge into practical solutions.
What makes this collaboration significant is its focus on real-world impact. By connecting innovation with the opportunities and challenges we face, we can strengthen conservation efforts, advance sustainability and support knowledge-based development that delivers lasting value.
My thanks to HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Energy and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KACST; our Governor HH Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud; HE Dr Munir Eldesouki, President of KACST; and all those involved in bringing this partnership together. I look forward to the impact we can
WhatRemains® is a performance-focused brand built around the idea of discovering what remains when limits are pushed beyond expectation. The challenge was to create an identity that could stand apart in a category often dominated by clinical aesthetics, geometric systems, and predictable visual cues.
DashDigital® Studio began with the name itself, using its meaning as the foundation for the entire brand. The identity centers on a hand-drawn runner with the WR monogram seamlessly integrated into the figure, creating a striking contrast against a precise wordmark. This balance between human energy and structured design extends across packaging, apparel, digital platforms, print materials, and retail environments. The result is a distinctive brand system that feels authentic, determined, and emotionally connected to the pursuit of personal endurance.

The best CMO I ever placed called me 8 months later to tell me she was leaving.
I wasn't surprised.
A founder who genuinely believed he wanted a strategic marketing leader.
Interviews that went perfectly. Real excitement on both sides and then she joined.
Suddenly every campaign needed his approval and every messaging decision became a debate.
She left because the role she was sold and the role she was given were two completely different jobs.
Nobody lied to her and that's the uncomfortable part.
The founder genuinely thought he was ready to hand it over. He wasn't.
Companies hire for seniority and then manage for control.
And the leader caught in the middle - talented, experienced, well-intentioned - ends up carrying the cost of someone else's unresolved stuff.
She went on to do exceptional work somewhere else.
The company is still searching.
For decades, the swath from the Dakotas to Ohio steadily lost population to other parts of the country, as manufacturing jobs disappeared and the growth of the service economy pulled people to the South.
Now signs are emerging that the out-migration is slowing, and, in some places, even starting to reverse.
It may be too early to call a Midwest Renaissance, but for the first time in years, the numbers are pointing in an upbeat direction.
The improvement is most evident in places with service-based economies such as Indianapolis, Columbus and Des Moines. But it is also showing up in metropolitan areas like Cleveland and Akron, which have struggled to evolve from their industrial legacies.

I interviewed multimillionaire entrepreneur Joshua Crisp, and I asked him:
-Why marketing is important in business.
-What the richest people in the world have in common.
Lastly, I asked him for a lesson about money that banks don’t want people to know.
Every time someone tells me they just want to give it to AI, you know, “just to see what it thinks,” I show them this:
The problem is not your resume.
The problem is not your portfolio.
The problem is not your experience.
It is the website you keep refreshing.
