FAQ

Common questions.

What is the LinkedIn headline character limit?
LinkedIn allows up to 220 characters in the headline field. The tool keeps every option under that hard cap, with the strongest options sitting in the 140–200 range.
Should I lead with my title or my outcome?
It depends on who you sell to. For buyers, lead with the outcome you create. For recruiters and peer networks, lead with the title. The tool covers both, so you can test which one gets more profile visits over a couple of weeks.
Will the headlines have hashtags or em-dashes?
No. We strip both. Hashtags look spammy in a headline and em-dashes feel AI-generated. Clean clauses only.
Can the headline include emojis?
The generator uses emojis very sparingly and only when they add meaning. Most options are emoji-free. If you want emoji-heavy output, edit one of the results.
Is this free?
Yes. Anonymous use is capped at 10 generations per IP per hour. Sign up for Linqin for unlimited use plus a complete profile audit inside the dashboard.
Does Linqin help with the rest of my profile?
Yes, Linqin connects to your LinkedIn via the official API and gives feedback on your headline, About section, and recent posts. The agent also writes posts and comments for you daily.

Want this on autopilot?
